The Code Reader 2.0 (CR2) is the first all applications reader. Whether you are reading smaller, high density 2-D codes or larger low density linear codes, the CR2 will outperform all other devices. The reader is rugged, lightweight and will operate for more than a complete shift at the highest use rate, performing more than 50,000 reads and transmits from a single battery charge.
Code supports Bluetooth V1.2, which is a proven, reliable method for replacing cables with secure wireless communications in a wide variety of devices. When using the CodeXML Bluetooth Modem, or the CodeXML Router and a Bluetooth V1.2 compliant radio, the features of adaptive frequency hopping and the rapid creation of new connections provide unsurpassed efficiencies in cordless data operations, and a new level of performance when co-sited with 802.11 systems. The CR2 instantly reads large linear and high density matrix symbols due to Code Corporation's unique Dynamic Optimization Technology (DOT). The CR2 features a variety of accessories including a clip-on pistol grip handle, making it the only product available in handheld, gun handle, and presentation stand form factors.
New Feature. All wireless CR2 units are now Multiple Interface Units (MIU), meaning each unit will support USB, PS2, and RS232 cables as well as wireless connectivity.
